And it depends: a spin-off based on a scenario is different than using someone else's OCs, to my mind (yes, I realise the distinction isn't logical, as the canon characters are JoJo's OCs and I use them with abandon *g*). And no, it isn't really about the money to me, either. But I think it's bad manners, especially without asking. Not that it'll ever be an issue, as I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to spin off anything I've written. As ususal, I'm getting up in arms for no reason at all. ;)
