We always fundamentally disagree on Ron-Molly. I'd think it'd be pretty hard to overlook major trauma like the spider (or the acid pops). But what I'm drawing on are the little things like maroon (which he hates), getting his least favourite sort of sandwich for the train trip, the Yule robes, Molly's close bond with Ginny (he would have been 'don't act like a baby, you're too old' a lot, I suspect). Basically getting the feeling that he's not special in any way (compared to his brothers, as you say, and to Ginny as the girl/youngest).
But Weasley dynamics are a topic people can disagree on immensely, so I guess everybody has to make up 'their' own canon from the evidence that's there.
