Oh i love the first one so much!!! Percy is perfect: ambitious and cautious and so desperately full of doubt. I love the backstory, and the way you draw politics into it. I've never seen you write anything so sentimental before. You've done such a brilliant job of drawing out sweetness without compromising character or veering anywhere near fluff ... I wish you'd do it more often!
