1) I adore cats to bits, and often walk up to strange felines in the street and try to talk them into letting me pet them.
2) I get a ridiculous amount of satisfaction out of squeezing out pimples.
3) Meeting strange people or having to make small-talk with anyone I don't know well scares me silly.
4) I'm uncomfortable in any colour that isn't black, grey or darkish blue or green, and tend to feel... more powerful in skirts :).
5) I love parsley and can eat it like salad (ok, I also eat salad 'raw' without dressing)
6) I have a weird sort of honour code that doesn't really fit in with 'traditional morality', but which is pretty rigid nonetheless.
7) Music, especially loud music, tends to affect me physically - I can get virtually high that way.

Seven hmm -- you know I won't be able to do seven myself -- tag I mean......:-)

1) I check the front door every night to see if I really locked it -- even though I know I did.
2) I secretly would love to have an affair with someone who I am pretty sure doesn't know I exist.
3) I sometimes doubt my own decisions in life so far.
4) Except for one friendship (you know who) I pretty much dump people after a while -- or better said when have no further need of their company. Cruel but true.
5) I have an easier time expressing myself in English than in German.
6) I have yet to meet a German guy that I could see myself having a relationship with (if I wasn't in one)-- I think they are full of themselves and arrogant.
7)I am much more like "Dana" than I am comfortable to admitting.

So did I surprise you????

Hmmmm... no, not really :). I didn't know 1), but it didn't surprise me. I do it in the office, but not at home :).

And I haven't forgotten that side comment of yours about threesome recs - I just wish I was sorting fics on my hard drive according to a system instead of hoping I'll find something again by title :(.

That's interesting! Well, you did alright in a group of 400 HP nerds and you did talk. I know cuz I remember your voice ;-)
I'd love to hear about that morale codex of yours. I wonder if it is similar to mine (which is also kinda strange).

Weeeeell, HP nerds doesn't quite equal strangers :). And actually, I can talk to *strangers* if there's a purpose. Just the smalltalk sort of situation...

The weird moral code includes such gems as "You can lie like a storyteller in RL, but not on the Net" or "Behave even more correctly towards your enemies than your friends". I've never said it makes sense :). I also felt very positively about your comment on following only rules that make sense - that made me think of this quirk in the first place :).

Okay, I get the second one -- makes sense. The first one is a bit weird -- I never lie -- but I do withhold certain information at times. What I don't say cannot be held against me (whistles).

The second one is also passive aggressive as in 'it drives them crazy' :). I lie because it makes life simpler, but on the net... it would be so much easier there, so it feels somewhat unfair. Or maybe I'm just being contrary ;).

Um... have you ever considered transferring the Callisto icon here too? I'm so in love with it ;).

I don't get you on Nr. 1 but I totally second Nr. 2. I never leave a soft spot open for enemies. It's a kind of self defense.
I was just the opposite, once. I had multiple personalities and made up stories for them, and never told anyone who I really was. Well, that's 10 years past at least *g* Honestly. I'm honest now. I would tell you if I weren't :-)))

The multiple sockpuppets thing has a theoretical appeal, but I already fail at handling two accounts at once :). Perhaps I should turn my signature into "I'm not that honest, I'm just too dumb to lie convincingly" :). On the net at least...

A friend of mine kept saying "I know all the people on the internet and half of them are you" :-)
It's true, it's a pain to keep track. I think that was partly why it stopped.
