beta interest, anyone?
Oct. 29th, 2004 08:30 pmWTF is wrong with LJ today - first it doesn't work, then it won't let me log in, *then* it makes me send out double-and-triple posts all over the place... *hrmp!*.
Could I perhaps entice someone to beta a not-quite 2000 words NC-17 Snar... no, can't bring myself to say it, Harry/Snape piece, with much clichéd evil Sirius/James and manipulative Snape? (yep, I know it's so cliched you almost don't have to read the fic after that summary, but I need a second opinion telling me this :). Anyone?
And I just have to echo
chthonya's recent rec for The Best Revenge by
scatteredlogic [Hermione/Lucius, het, *very* mild NC-17]
So incredible to see someone pull off that pairing without angst, with wonderful writing, and a killer-sense for humour. That line nearly killed me:
"Subtlety isn't always the wisest approach, Mr. Malfoy. Sometimes, it's best to simply club a snake over the head and have done with it."
