Well, some of you may know that I'm quite fond of FictionAlley's Fic Exchange Threads, and I'm greatly enjoying [livejournal.com profile] tarie's current Feedback Exchange Fest, most of all because it allows for NC-17 fics. Actually, the lack of NC-17 exchange opportunities has bothered me for a while. Which inspired me to this little Poll (with apologies for the lack of nifty ticky boxes!):

1) Would you be interested in a HP NC-17 Feedback Exchange community (i.e. a place where you can put up your (or somebody else's) fics to be reviewed, and review others' fics in return)?
a) Yes
b) No

2) If you answered 'Yes' above, and if there was a NC-17 Exchange, could you imagine:
a) participating regularly (once/twice per week or more)
b) participating occasionally (once/twice per month or more)
c) participating once or twice
d) watching for fic recs

3) In a NC-17 Feedback Exchange, would you like to see:
a) Regular Exchange format (= reviewing the story left by the previous poster)
b) Reverse Exchange format (= leaving a story of yours for the previous poster to review, i.e. picking the reviewer)
c) both Regular and Reverse Exchange
d) Other (please specify in comments)

4) In a NC-17 Feedback Exchange, would you like to see:
a) NC-17 ratings only
b) R and NC-17 ratings

5) Would you rather have:
a) separate threads for het and slash
b) just one thread – mix het/slash together

And finally, just to satisfy my personal curiosity (unrelated to any potential setting up of a NC-17 Exchange, and totally optional):

6) If you answered 'yes' to 1) above, what do you like about Feedback Exchanges?

7) If you've answered 'no' to 1) above, any specific dislikes beyond 'no time/no interest'?

QUID PRO QUO, T.O.O. by [livejournal.com profile] tales_of_josan [Snape/Harry/Draco, NC-17]
AU novella - the enmity between Harry and Draco has everyone exasperated, and Snape takes them down to the Chamber of Secrets to make them work together over the holidays. With an attitude! Much porn. Much plot. Apart from the sex (which is more than hot, I'm not kidding), what held me spellbound was the beautiful characterisation and the way Harry and Draco come from hating each other's guts to sincerely caring. Amazing, and different, and really spellbinding (and *don't* stop at the first Post - it picks up from there like you wouldn't believe!)

Left Unfinished by [livejournal.com profile] amanuensis1 [Harry/Draco, G]
Hermione officiates at Harry's and Draco's wedding... at long last. Oh, that one got to me like nobody's business, so beautiful, so sad, so... words fail me, really. Let's just say, I not often prefer the G fic over the NC-17 fic (*points at next rec*), so that should tell you it's good, right? And it's what should be snuck onto the reading desk of any gay marriage opponent, too - couldn't think of anything better!

If the Ghosts Are Figurative, Is It Exhibitionism?, again by [livejournal.com profile] amanuensis1 [Harry/Draco, NC-17]
Harry. Draco. Draco's room in the manor. I called it 'sex in the service of characterisation', and it's the interaction between the two - the observing-without-connecting - that makes it one superb example of character-driven writing. Hot beyond doubt, but a lot more than that.

And a First Slash Award to [livejournal.com profile] chthonya, who was inspired by [livejournal.com profile] mctabby's 12 Characters Meme to bring us this amazing, not to mention innovative, drabble on:
What would happen if Bellatrix Lestrange walked in on Cornelius Fudge and Severus Snape having sex?
Heh, yes - anyone can start out with the *easy* stuff. Which makes me ponder... has anyone ever *seen* a Bellatrix/Umbridge femmeslash piece?

... and feel free to vote in the poll below - a brisk 'No' will also be appreciated ;).
