mad_maudlin [Ron/Lucius, NC-17; one-shot]
Summary: Lust. Fornication. Deceit. There are greater sins.
Post-War: Ron runs into a fugitive Lucius Malfoy in Las Vegas while working as a Quidditch reporter. Yes, Ron/Lucius is the rarer of my Two True Pairings, but this isn't just the best of far too few fics written on it. It's beautiful and hot and scary, with imagery to die for and sex to stop your breath, and it so *absolutely* blew my mind that I *still* can't find proper words for it. But if I had to make a list of my ten favourite fics in the fandom, this would be on it. Just read, all right!
The Set bypauraque [Sirius/Regulus with Slughorn, incest, NC-17; one-shot]
Summary: 'The whole Black family had been in my House, but Sirius ended up in Gryffindor! Shame -- he was a talented boy. I got his brother, Regulus, when he came along, but I'd have liked the set.'
Ever since reading Slughorn's comment in HBP about not getting the 'set' of Black brothers for Slytherin, my subconscious was hoping for a story like this one, but really, it exceeded all my expectations. Regulus is deliciously vulnerable in this, Sirius torn between disgust and want, and the characterisation just sparkles throughout - *such* an amazing fic!

Summary: Sirius doesn't have as many regrets as Remus thinks.
A tentative, affectionate scene between Remus and Sirius after Padfoot's return from Kings Cross in OotP... made poignant and painful by the knowledge that Sirius will not live to enjoy the peace made between them here. A sad, lovely and moving tale.
What E'er Therein Is Promised by Deeble [Hermione/Snape, NC-17; 28 chapters (complete)]
Summary: Seeking knowledge, Hermione signs a contract with Professor Snape — and gets more than she bargained for.
Bloody heck, I'm reccing het! ;) I blamehummelchen for making me read this wonderful fic of Hermione getting herself caught in an apprentice contract with Snape without thinking about the potential implications of 'obedience'. Both are wonderfully in character, and the description of how Hermione comes to very grudgingly care about her tormentor is beautifully done, and so very unfluffy... This entertained me greatly, and I'm not usually for het at all (and is so good that I forgave Snape for quoting literature).
