Yay! I love fics that plaster a mad grin on my face with the first paragraph, which then refuses to leave till the end :). And this tale of Ron as a post-war broom maker just *sparkles*. It has absolutely superb writing, a wonderful mature-but-recognisable Ron, scheming Draco and a perfect wizarding feeling to it.
A Twisted Idea of True North bymadsciencechick [NC-17; Harry/Ron, one-shot]
Ron is desperate to pull Harry out of his post-war depression. Harry is not compliant... I love the atmosphere of desolation this story creates so effortlessly through small domestic details, and the resolution is spectacularly well written. One of those fics where the smut is just the icing on an already tasty cake.
Black Velvet byxylodemon [NC-17; Remus/Sirius]
Sirius likes his lover bound and begging :). A beautiful, sensual and tender scene with a touch of power play just underneath the surface. The writing alone is simply delicious, as is the whole fic.
What Black Hour bycatrinella [Harry/Draco, NC-17, one-shot]
Harry is captured by Death Eaters, and Draco is called to 'perform' with him. The character interaction here is superb, as is the plot twist at the end, and the unique take on Greyback as gruff mentor figure. Wonderful characterisation throughout.
Prince of Dogs and Fools by bynimori [Snape/Sirius/Draco, NC-17; one-shot]
*grin* Dumbledore scheming post-HBP from a chocolate frog card alone would make this a winner, but it combines humour and sarcasm and sheer hot smut into a wonderful combination.
The Prisoner's Weapons byleni_jess [Harry/Lucius, NC-17, long one-shot]
A wonderfully plotty tale of Lucius being taken out of Azkaban by Harry as a source of information. Lucius' pragmatic and intricate seduction of his young captor is breath-taking to watch, as is the psychological interplay of their encounters. Very, very nice.
