My beloved chthonya wrote me gen with Ron and Lucius clashing at Quidditch Quality Supplies, which had me hopping around giddily and totally blown away. And the most marvellous Ron too! Look at Worthy of Respect (~PG)! It's so wonderful, *sniffs*!

And moshes and I (or is that and me? Bloody English!) are happy recipients of two fics at once:
fleshdress wrote a mind-blowing 'Lucius does the Marauders'-piece, The Soul of Pleasure (R-ish) that's all hot and brilliant and full of shiny characterisation. *hugs with love*

And lazy_neutrino gifted us with A Flash of Silver at the Laxey Wheel, a thoughtful, *insightful* and lovely piece of Remus on the Isle of Man, pondering life after Voldemort in the mold of her recent, gorgeous The Hollow.

I had this list penned down before the hpvalensmut Masterlist was revealed, just had no time to post it then. What really struck me was the amount of lovely femmeslash that turned up in this fest! And highlighting only a handful of favourites was hard work - I could've easily picked twice this number!

Which is a pure, nasty, angst-ridden mindfuck of a fic! I loved it to bits :).

I'm not usually into R/S or Marauderfic, but this slightly edgy, dominant Remus is delicious, and the writing rocks!

Take What You Can Get by corvidae9 [Harry/Draco, NC-17]
Hate, sex, bonding, snark, plot, intriguing structure. But you *have* to read it for Ron's reaction to the revelation that Harry and Draco are together!

So powerful – perfect poetic writing, a lovely batty, wise and vulnerable Luna, rarepairs, angst, a human face on Marietta… again, *powerful*.

Cute, entertaining, plotty, and with a wonderful wizarding-world feel to it.

Oookay, people, I swear I'll shut up after this, but play a little game with me, will you? I'd like you to fill out the poll *without* first reading the explanation for it below - feel free to throw in your own thoughts after you filled it out, but I'd like you to do it without any preconceptions :).
