I've badly neglected the reccing business (and also the reading business) lately, so here's a batch in alphabetical order:

Crazy Man Michael by [livejournal.com profile] amanuensis1 [Harry/HBP, NC-17, one-shot]
Summary: "O, where is the raven that I struck down dead?"
Harry has won the war, and lost himself to his dreams of the Half-Blood Prince... A *very* untypical take on the whole genre of 'Snarry', and a haunting, painful and wistful story with an incredible impact.

Nobility by [livejournal.com profile] the_con_cept [Ron/Lucius, NC-17, one-shot]
Summary: Voldemort has all but won, and Ron is given to Lucius Malfoy. It's nothing like he was expecting.
*Not* reccing this just because it's my OTP - it has wonderful characterisation, psychological depth and really turns the genre of noncon-Death Eater slavefic on its ear, all at once. Brilliant piece, and a great Ron!

Snape: the Home Fries Nazi by Pir8fancier [Harry/Snape, NC-17, long one-shot]
Summary: In the aftermath of Harry's defeat of Voldemort, all Death Eaters lose their magic. Snape decamps to the United States, where he works as a short order cook in a diner. Harry seeks him out to ask for advice.
It's almost incredible how a summary that sounds like an escapee from [livejournal.com profile] mctabby's Summary Executions can hide such an incredible gem of a fic. Because this *works*. It's perfectly in character, with a wonderful plot, and writing so vivid that you can actually *see* the pair in the Arizonian desert. At first I didn't even want to read it because the concept sounds so like badfic, but it rocks beyond words!

Um... by [livejournal.com profile] fee_absinthe [um, R, I guess, Harry/Snape with hints of Harry/Draco, one-shot]
Summary: Apparently the Harry Potter fandom is Dying And Doomed. Like abandoned lovers, we watch helplessly as our favourite writers take up new passions. Woe and despair, woe and depair!!!
Crackfic at its most literate best :). 'A Never-Ending Story' take on the evils of fandom-switching, and just absolutely hysterical. I mean, can you resist a premise of ""Every time someone writes in another fandom, part of our world dies. " Yeah, thought so ;).
