Signed up for merry_smutmas and am almost crossing fingers I won't make it. Told hummelchen about it last week and she scolded me for over ten minutes (until we had to run to see Pirates of the Carribean 2), because I'd asked her after signing up for reversathon to dissuade me if I should ever try to succumb to Fest Madness (TM) again... But heck, I'll have the time, and can never resist, and I whined so much over not being around for signups last year, so...

And here, long overdue, a batch of reversathon recs, painfully selective because I've not yet got around to read most of the longer ones that I'm itching to read but haven't got the time yet... bloody RL translation project! Two het, three humour... I must be getting soft ;).

Underneath Your Clothes by ella_bane [Ron/Lucius, Harry/Lucius, NC-17]
Summary: Harry and Ron are trapped. Their plan to escape? The seduction of Lucius Malfoy. Hey, they never said it was a good plan.
My very personal favourite. Because of the pairings, but even more so because it's hysterically funny and dead hot with sweaty Ron and aloof Lucius and full of banter and snark and outraged egos... Just read :).

A Night in the Life of James Potter by xylodemon [James/Snape, NC-17]
Summary: In which, James should have stayed in bed.
I loved this not so much for the James/Snape smut, although that's totally hot and wonderfully written, but because it captured the... spirit of the adolescent marauders in a vivid, physical, and dead funny way that very few fics ever manage.

Unintended by furiosity [Harry/Draco, NC-17]
Summary: Every little thing between them had been unintended, accidental, fortuitous.
Before reading this, I thought I'd read too many H/D fics to still get tied into emotional knots by one. Combine an instinct-driven, very in-character Draco, a strong, ruthless and emotionally prickly Harry with marvellous sex scenes in the service of characterisation, and you have one really amazing fic!

Stalks and Bonds by the_con_cept [Snape/Draco/Harry, NC-17]
Summary: After Severus betrays the Dark Lord, he and Draco are thrown into Azkaban to await their fate. Then Harry Potter is captured as well, and Severus must come up with a plan to save them all—and quickly.
A great fun threesome that's picking up your old sex magic plot and proceeds to run circles around it. Hot, giggle-inducing characterisation with double-and-triple-crossing, and a severe authorial eye-twinkle throughout. This one was priceless.

As Time Goes By by pre_raphaelite1 [Minerva/Tom, NC-17]
Summarised Request: A Tom/Minerva first time fic with Minerva seducing Tom, a bit of romance, a touch of angst, and a Tom!dose of manipulation.
If you know what it takes to sell me het sex... But pre_raphaelite1's Minerva is one of the strongest, most self-assured and liberated portrayals of Minerva I've ever seen, and a wonderful match for a very intriguing Tom here too. Plus, het sex that reeeeally got to me :). Outstanding, truly.

Nothing That's Worth Seeing by stephanometra [Sirius/Bellatrix, R]
Summary: Did you expect it all to stop with a wave of your hand, like the sun's just gonna drop if it's night you demand?
Sirius and Bellatrix, tearing into each other (verbally and not) over Regulus' grave... Wow - a painful amount of ugly truths about the weaknesses and failures of both are dug up here, and the lessons Sirius learns are long-term and cutting. Perfect characterisation and equally perfect tying-in with canon.
