The Hijja has a lousy memory, apart from numbers... most people who know her are aware of it (or become aware rapidly...).
Still... Just how unforgivable is it to approach one of best friends in world, and ask, "See, that thing-with-wheels I had somebody do for you a bit back... Did we agree it'd be your birthday present, or did you pay me for it? Incidentally, was it even this year, or last year?" Without coming out directly and asking, "Hey, do I owe you a birthday present, nevermind that I only just remembered and the date of doom is practically around the corner?"
Argh, sometimes I hate myself! Scatterbrained doesn't *begin* to describe it. :(

pushdragon has finally created an IJ! Yay-with-bells-on! And poetry :).
