Eight Days of Happiness - Day Four
Today's Happy... well, today was designated as shopping day, whose to-do list included an alarm clock (old one broke, hence top priority), looking at jewellery for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hummelchen, various household items (all out of baking soda after yesterday's heroic battle with the clogged sink), groceries, and perhaps a peek into a bookshop.
I came home with seven books - by Mary Gentle (whose alternate histories can be amazing), Samuel Delaney (recced me byleni_jess), a collection of gay love poetry, a handful of SF and a trashy vampire novel for amusement. That's happy!
Entirely forgot about the alarm clock (*thwaps head*) and didn't buy any jewellery, though - ah well, there's books, and books make everything all right :).
