Spyfest RECS (Round Two)

spy_fest recs before the reveals :). And since there are still two or three fics I've not read yet, there might be a chasing-up rec coming up soon. Enjoy! I can't express how happy I am to see people getting into this fandom :).
Daze (Wolf/Alex, NC-17)
Summary: Why is it that whenever Wolf runs into that kid, things just get really weird...?
This isn't a pairing I'm usually giving much attention, but I loved this to bits. I adored Wolf's PoV here – wary, self-ironic, and in the end utterly bowled over by Alex's initiative :). A great mix of fun plot and sex (not even *that* explicit, but amazingly hot!).
Control (Yassen/Alex, NC-17)
Summary: The first time Alex ran into Yassen ...
I'm an utter sucker for twisted romances, and this is a great one. The way the story speeds along, building up tension and leaving scorching hotness left and right (and control issues! don't forget the control issues!) is awesome. I re-read this quite a few times so far, and it still sizzles. *This* is the sort of 'romance' I like :).
Diplomatic Immunity (Alex, K-Unit, PG-13, gen)
Summary: Diplomatic immunity goes both ways. K-Unit's newest addition is exactly as they feared he'd be, and first impressions are not pleasant, to say the least. AU Scorpia!Alex.
Oh yay – this was my first introduction to Scorpia!Alex! Captured by MI6 and after some high-level politicking, sent on a 'training mission' with K-Unit. Sounds familiar? Only that *this* Alex is a high-powered baby assassin with a mind like a knife and reflexively on the prowl for weaknesses... great fun!
Out of his Depth (Alex, Wolf, R, gen)
Summary: When an undercover operation goes wrong, Alex's strength is pushed to the limit. But he is a child playing in a grown-up world...
Alex is just supposed to play cover for an agent infiltrating a drug cartel in Bangok, but then things go downhill steeply. I loved the terrifying realism of this – leaving Alex in a situation he can *not* deal with in a more radical way even than canon. Amazing, but scary!
