First of all: MAJOR SQUEE! This has really woken up the Evil Beast inside. Isn't AR just the coolest fandom? I mean, apart from the obvious sexy bits, this could actually have been written by AH. What a shame that he's not adding any more to the series (and you must read the last book because kidnapped Alex + Thailand = OMG!).
And now on to specifics!
This line really cracked me up: Bad enough that someone had been undressing him after picking him up
It is a running theme of his life ... I wouldn't sleep very soundly at night if I were Alex, always waking up half-naked or with different clothes :D. I wish the Death Eaters in canon were more prone to that type of invasion *SIGH*. Yassen is such a wonderful "bad guy". He's almost Snape-like in some of his decisions, both in your fic and in canon. Also like Snape, I feel his character was wasted and thrown to the wolves. But SQUEEEEE he's so cold and utilitarian and delightfully calculating! I love your Yassen!!!!
"I offered you a choice, Alex. If you prefer death to sharing my bed, I will snap your neck and choose one of the others in your stead. It will be quick - painless."
Holy cow. He'd do it as well ... This made me shiver A LOT. He reminds me of Alex Krycek (X-files) in his attitude. But of course Alex is a fighter and I love love LOVE that you write his mental anguish as more much more crippling than his physical assault, because if there's one thing Alex can deal with, it's pain.
