No zips. Ever. Someone suggested laces, which is excellent. Arthur may well have tried a pair of trousers with a zip once and someone needs to write about what happened with that and why he never did again. There's a reason there are no more Weasleys after Ginny!

Magical zippers, obviously! They were invented long before the Muggle version, never break, snarl up or lose teeth, open and close themselves, and are never left open by mistake. Such questions you ask!

OT: a few years ago, you were shocked to be told that British TV had a ballroom dance competition whose judges were as rude as I ever am as a critic. Now that you live in the country, you had the opportunity to watch it (Strictly Come Dancing). Was I exaggerating?
