You get strange looks for reading history for fun? Hm... I'd say 'that never happened to me', but on second thought, dragging tomes on Assyrian and Sumerian history out of the uni library *does* somehow look as if it's work-related, so...

Yep. I only know one person in RL who's interested in history, and he's into costumed re-enactments, so is regarded as even weirder than I am. Clearly, I'm hanging around with the wrong people. *g*
