waffling, news and a birthday

Ohgods, I should be in bed! I just friended myself by accident instead of hitting the 'new post' button... Am still writing madly, dead tired, and seem to be one mitten short of a set... that's gonna be fun tonight on the bicycle :(.

From what I've seen so far, the merry_smutmas kickoff has been spectacular, and I'm quietly drooling at the thought of more stories throughout December. There's something to be said for just consuming the gems - lovely like eating candy in bed :).

FictionAlley has revamped its layout and story pages, providing a new, shiny search engine, around which I've been bouncing all day like a Niffler in a gold mine!

Oh, I quite see your point. Most readers would see that as gen, not preslash.

But . . . *coughs* I'm the Ron/Draco rec'er for December, NOT the gen rec'er. So, I was willing to . . . stretch the truth a tad there, so that I could justify including a story that I admired very much.

I'll be pleased if it brings new readers to your story!
