Open Note-let to the Furry

Beloved Cat!

I realise it was a mistake of epic strategic proportions to dump and leave my (long, lace-style, fringed) black scarf over the couch headrest last night. Because you, being bright and having tons of experience with wool blankets (on which you're not allowed, reason see below), manage to snuggle up, and lean heavily, until gravity pulls the poor things down and you can sleep on them. Which - you guessed it - happened to said scarf.

As a consequence, I spent half of my train trip today pulling tricoloured hairs out of the thing. One after the other after the next. Just *how* you manage to shed like nuts and still have fur has always been beyond me.

Though having had to wriggle and contort (behind locked office door) to liberate yet another one of those tricoloured hairs out of my bra cup pretty much tops the indignity! Now I'm itching all over. No tuna tonight for sure. Mediocre amounts of love,

Me

On behalf of my cats: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Eeew! Well, at least it went out, not down :).

"Just *how* you manage to shed like nuts and still have fur has always been beyond me."

I too wonder why more cats are not completely bald. >.>

But we don't mind being shed on. It's just their way of saying 'I less than three you'. <3

*giggles*
I know! But when it comes to that, I prefer being cleaned or having my nose licked :).
And it's really marvellous, the not-bald-thing, isn't it?

"And it's really marvellous, the not-bald-thing, isn't it?"

Honestly, it is.

I can't imagine a featherless bird for instance, that would just be ridiculous. Cats can manage being bald better since I've seen cute bald cats.

My dog got his hair shaved off because he rolled around outside and got somebody's gum in his fur :-( He looked like a giant rat, and he was so ashamed he hid under the couch every chance he got.

So yay for not-bald pets!

I coughed up a cat hair at 3 am a few days ago. Up till that point I couldn't work out why the allergy was giving me such a bad night...

Damn! That sounds really nasty! Or perhaps the underhanded payback for the vaccination session and your further plans for her :). There's world conspiracy potential apaw there, I just *know* it ;).

Tomorrow we have to get her into the cat carrier with NO BREAKFAST.

It says a lot about the situation that we've both suggested smuggling all our breakfast stuff into the front of the house, so we can get up and eat without her knowing, and then get washed and dressed, entice her and in swoop on her.

We are seriously considering this...

You're already doomed to eternal catserfdom :). Though it's a pretty pleasant fate :). Best of luck to the poor thing tomorrow!

Cats....

.... got to love'm. And yes, my cats say "Baeh" and good going Hexe as well ;-). Cats!!! What a "lousy" ;-) pack -- always sticking together :-) LOL
By the way I put a link (hope it works) to the poll -- so you may check the results -- I think just pick it is not for me and it will take you to the results so far.

Hugs

I bet they do. Though I have the sneaky suspicion that if Leah would ever meet Hexe, it'd look like a training ground for World War Three ;).

Is your icon a photo of your kitty? He looks like he's got a little, black mohawk. :)

Yup :). She got iconised backwards and forwards :). It's only frustration/alert here, though.

I love the dark little topknot on her head! So cute! :)

Beloved house guest,

I understand the discomfort this has given you but rest assure that your kind gesture of last night was highly appreciated.
After all, even us cats like a change in bedding every now and then.
Unfortunately you misunderstood my kindness. I left the hairs there so you'd feel my presence and love even outside my house. It was my way of comforting you in this cruel hard world outside my door.

As for the tuna... *sharpens claws*

Hot damn, you're channeling Hexe so well it's almost scary :). She settled down for ordinary catfood, though, without more than a nasty look :).

Maybe I'm a 'cat whisperer'?
