Wah, am exhausted - should have slept more than four hours tonight...

But... I've booked my flight to and from Sectus with an extra day or so thrown in. Strangely enough, I had to pay one Euro for the flights, the rest was taxes. Still, I'm pretty pleased with it as it leaves me a bit of budget for books and stuff even if that sort of price policy is hell on the environment. On the other hand it means that there's no way to weasel out of going now, is there? *is fraidy cat*

And in May karaontai is coming to visit, about which I'm too ecstatic for words! And in late spring/summer I'll be teaching 'The Harry Potter Phenomenon', hopefully on a somewhat critical level without letting on how much I dig it and how deep I am in fandom ;).

Looks like an exciting half year :).

Damn, I should have talked to you before this - didn't think you'd get on to flights so soon. Are you around after Sectus at all? My school term doesn't end till the Friday so that is the earliest I'll get to London, but I may be around after.

My thoughts exactly when I saw this post (I haven't even got round to registering yet, though I'm working at the moment so I should be able to afford it this month).

I've no idea what I'll be up to in July, but I think I'm just going to treat it as a pre-booked holiday and come in on Thursday.

Hijja - when are you arriving? You'd be most welcome to stay at my parents' place the night before it all kicks off (I'll be doing the same, whether I'm still a semi-permanent resident or not at that point) and any nights after.

I'm so, so looking forward to seeing you again :). And I should arrive sometime in the morning on the 18th and get back on the evening of the 24th (that's the most I can make as there'll be lots of exam papers waiting for me just at that time :(.

Airline... Germanwings. The airport they fly out from is practically next door from where I live, so it's really good. I've been looking at the offer since early December with no changes, so *crosses fingers* it'll be available a bit longer.

1 euro wohh. Have you ever flown with that particular airline before???? Ken, Jason and I want to too. I guess, if it doesn't work out -- we don't have to worry about flying again :-) LOL ;-).

Haven't flown with them before (I never go places), but my boss is travelling from S-Town to London about twenty times a year or more, and he always made it alive ;).

Nope, I've never been afraid to fly, and those jokes are usually coming from me anyway ;).

Oh, I so wish I could afford to get to London this year, but I went to the UK in September (which was planned long before Sectus was announced) and my budget simply won't stretch to two UK trips in less than a year.

But I've promised myself that I'll make it to Prophecy, so that'll be my first con.

Awww! It would have been neat, but I totally understand it, not being too flush money-wise myself - that's why I was so happy about the flights :).
