Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll tell you want happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

Fics all floating around here or here (for a few not-yet-uploaded ones at the very end).

Just so I'll have something distracting to do at work tomorrow... will go home and mope now.

Eeee! You know, I think you may be the only person I want to see do this...the only person I want 'more' from. Possibly not, but I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head. Anyway--Night Over Azkaban! I want to know what happened afterwards...the next time Lucius and Harry met.

I'm still kicking around Snape/Ron plotbunnies, btw, just trying to figure out something that would actually fly...

Ah... that depends entirely on *how* Harry and Lucius meet :). In the war, Harry will perhaps tender a very small little soft spot for Lucius. Should Lucius get the upper hand, though... he'll want to assert his dominance, and play with Harry the way he wants to ;). Although he, too, would have that tiny soft spot and not go cruelly far. I think they both ended up with a sort of respect, almost affection for the other - not a blind spot, but enough to stop them from outright seeking each other out in battle (at least not with intent to kill).

I'd be dead curious to see you do Snape/Ron! *giggles* I'm sort of writing a bit of it (mixed up with Ron/Peter and tons of other pairings), although that silly thing went on the backburner in favour of [livejournal.com profile] triatha_ron. ;)

Beyond This Point Lie Monsters, 10 years on. Did that weird troika actually work out without leaving the wizarding world screwed as badly or worse than before?

Ah... as much as it hurts me to say so, no, I can't see it work out for ten years. Five, maybe six, before Tom will try to assert his power or rebel against Lucius's control, and after that he will either be dead (because Harry will be siding with Lucius for lesser-evil-and-no-more-dark-lords reasons, or the wizarding world will be embroiled in a civil war between Harry and Tom. Things may never go as ugly as with Voldemort, but the WW will be pretty screwed still in that case. Though I prefer the first option, which will leave Harry and Lucius either bonding over mutual loss or their relation/partnership destroyed for good. But that's just me :).

Ohohoh, I absolutely have to come stumbling out of hibernation for this :)

Draco, 5 years after Not Quite a Love Song, in Ten Verses, please.

This time, I'm prepared for anything.

I'm pretty sure that Voldemort will have won, with one wary eye on Lucius and keeping Draco as far from the action (and himself!) as possible. Whereupon Draco will sulk and mope and not quite get why. It'd take at least another five years before he'll start considering the possibility he *might* have screwed up at one point :). But that's Draco for you :D.

Am so sorry. I temporarily switched LJ comment notifications to another email account. And kept on checking the old one.

...Draco will sulk and mope and not quite get why

Hee, I can totally see this.

(I should have worded my original request better. How does Draco feel about Harry at this point? *If* he thinks about him at all? Does he have any regrets?)
Sorry to try your patience :)

I think Draco isn't going to have explicit regrets (or at least he won't let the thought come up consciously). But I think he'll realise that under normal circumstances (in the longer run) he just don't often inspires this sort of affection (if at all), and once he finds out that he might have thrown something away he can't have again, he might have regrets - without admitting those to himself, of course!

Just read "Remade" (which was a nice, short angsty piece), and as I'm quite fond of werewolf fic, maybe you can tell me what is happening afterwards, should he ever remember anything about his past. If not, just anytime after.

I think he'll always have a sort of vague gut feeling about his past (if just about the fact that he 'matters' somehow), enough to do exactly what Fenrir envisions - make his way to the top, and if he ever regains his memory, well... Voldie isn't going to like i! :).

Future after the end of the story

One of my favorites of yours is Recalcitrance. I love the whole stubborness of Ron/Lucius. So, my question is, Did Lucius capture his soul or what?

Oh, no, he's just messing with Ron's head - trying to get him to surrender himself voluntarily by making him believe he wants/deserves it. The soul comment - that's more a sort of symbol for surrender, not meant literally. And damn, I did write half the third chapter at one point, and then lost it to a faulty floppy :(.

How about 'For Refuge'? Say, six months later. Is Harry still with Lucius and Ron? How is he feeling now? Etc.

*Curious*

Six months is a tricky time... about enough to repair most of Harry's mental fears, and enough to allow him to stand on his own. On the other hand, it's such a 'comfortable' arrangement - Lucius gets his kinks fulfilled, Ron has his best friend with him without having to fret that he might be miserable someplace else, and Harry will not be alone and has a sort of family to cling to.

Still, the Harry/Lucius angle is very dysfunctional, so I think once Harry is himself again, he will leave. Or begin to lead his own life if he stays. But more likely leave.

I'm as good as certain one year later will find Draco on Harry's side, out for vengeance against Voldemort and Greyback and trying to stick it to Harry on the side to satisfy his overlord complex. In which Harry *might* be humouring him because he feels some attraction. Maybe - he's been pretty badly hurt, and I'm not sure if he could forgive on a personal level, Horcrux or not. But whether they're at each other's throats (in between fighting a war together) or in each other's pants, there'll be a lot of aggression to work through...

It has to be asked, my friend:

And you were worried about Rodents?

What happened in that final scene? Please, please tell me (or better still, show me, if you've any unwritten snippets still floating about your brain)

We've both realised it's unlikely to ever finish, right? :(
Give me a day or so and I'll write it out for you.
