Thank you! I took it off my info page, so a lot of people didn't know. I think there was some issue last year with people having 'dates but no years' (as I did) skewing the age data for LJ so that older users (like me - and you, I think?) were under-represented. I was keen not to contribute to that, but also didn't want to be located by pupils, so I didn't feel I could give the full date.

A-ha, I see. Well, that goes with having a secret identity, I guess. 8-) As for my age, I am less embarrassed by that than by my girth. After all, being my age means that I am old enough to remember man walking on the moon, Pele' and Rivera playing soccer, the Beatles, and growing up with Carl Barks, Jack Kirby, Charlers M.Schulz and Goscinny&Uderzo in their prime.

I remember the moon landing - that's one of my earliest memories. I lived in Australia till I was five and we had the day off school to watch it on TV. I have very few other memories of that time.
