Does excessive navel-gazing cure the flu? Probably not, but anyway...
1. You have 10 dollars and need to buy snacks at a gas station:
Hm... a beaker of hot coffee; a bottle of water (well, unless I was heading home with my snacks, rather than out to do something); two or four chocolate bars or chocolate in general; unsalted peanuts, if there were any; a few apples/pears; a bag of cookies if I liked the look of them (white chocolate chip is my newest obsession)
2. If you were reincarnated as a sea creature, what would you want to be?
Ah, a sea lion or leopard seal... Well, I do like dolphins, but the former look more like me :).
3. Last book you read?
Lois McMaster Bujold's "Komarr" - which rocks. In fact, all her Miles Vorkosigan novels rock. He's one of my most favourite fictional characters ever (way more likeable than Harry *or* Lucius)
4. Describe the last time you were injured?
Um... cutting your fingers and cat scratches and blue marks not counting... um... I tore a ligament a few years back. Not accident-prone although very minor-bumps-and-scratches-prone
5. Of all your LJ friends, who would you want to be stuck in a well with?
Ah...lazy_neutrino. She's such a calm person, and has this quirky, humorous way of dealing with adversities (of which being stuck in a well would be one, even with excellent company). And it would mean getting her nailed down to chat for a good long while :).
6. What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? If you don't have a phone what would it be if you did have one?
I keep trying to forget that I have a cell phone... Darth Vader's mask might be fitting, though. Or Hexe Teh Cat...
7. If you could only use one form of transportation what would it be?
Apparition, no contest! If RL transportation only, train preferred by a long shot.
8. Most recent movie you have watched in the theatre?
"Recent" might be an exaggeration... PotC 3, I think.
9. Name an actor/actress/singer you have the hots for:
No one whatsoever. I prefer to have my hots for fictional characters.
10. What's your favorite kind of cake?
I'm painfully torn between moist dark layered chocolate, and carrot cake with yoghurt icing...
11. Look to your left, what do you see?
The wall, my collection of info posters, tons of papers, diary, computer hard drive. Boring, isn't it? The right would've been more interesting.
12. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
Always (unless it's sandals that slip off easily).
13. Favorite toy as a child?
A stuffed lion cub that I loved to bits and pieces - still do, it's the only stuffed animal I'd never consider giving away. Ok, almost the only, but nobody would want to have my battered ancient cat, or the camel my mother knitted, or the frog my dad sewed and filled with rice :)
14. Do you think people talk about you behind your back?
Sometimes. But in general, I think I'm way too unremarkable (and close-mouthed) for people to bother.
15. Do you like running long distances?
About as much as a nasty blow to the head, or going to the dentist, or having to make small talk with strangers, or jamming my thumb in the door, or... you get the picture :).

Who hasn't, provided they had it accessible?
16. What color are the sheets on your bed?
Predominantly black with thin pale blue, orange and cream stripes... I bought it for the fabric, and took the least retina-burning colour combo.
17. What is the first television theme song that pops in your head?
Uh... After a lot of head-searching (no pop whatsoever, sadly)... Star Trek, TOS? *ducks*
18. Do people consider you smart?
If they do, they're probably overestimating me. But I doubt that they do.
19. How many piercings do you have?
If 'holes in ears' are 'piercings', then two. Otherwise, none. Ew! (Ok, don't take this
personally should it apply, but I tend to see piercings with all the wrong associations... as in, 'poor guy/girl, nasty pimple... oh, it's a piercing'.
20. What is your favorite salad dressing?
None. I prefer my salad unadulterated. If there has to be, yoghurt with dill and lemon. Handmade. I hate bottled salad dressings.
