[ABYSMAL] Yahell deleted the Harry/Lucius 'Beloved Enemies' group where I made my first steps in fandom and fell utterly in love with the ship and its fics. The worst thing, however, is that it had a huge, kick-ass archive which is now gone. Bloody, fucking, unbelievable bastards!
[STILL SUCKS] It's making me seriously consider taking my main email somewhere else, since neither accounts nor groups seem to be safe. Problem is, I kind of dislike Googlemail as well... anyone know of an email service that is free, reliable, has a bit of respect for its users and is, ideally, not totally on a mission to capitalist free market glory? Yeah, sure - if there was something like that, 2/3 of my f-list would probably use it :).

beloved_enemies will continue the Harry/Lucius love on LJ, so if you've been on the original list, or just like the pairing, it's the way to go :).
[MIDDLING] My book bag right at this moment weighs as much as half a bloody hyppogriff - one book of HP criticism, a huge tome about boys and boarding schools (*grin*), a hefty (and blissfully systematic) introduction to children's literature, a booklet on the Fantasy 'Bildungsroman' - not complaining about contents, just weight :)
[GOOD] The uni has a sort of mysterious book fair going on, so for myself, I added a huge collection of Spenser's poems and a Donna Leon novel. Ah, books!
[GOOD] There's leftover Nachos from yesterday on tonight's menu, yum. Although I have to point out that substituting anything but plain, unflavoured tortilla chips is detrimental on the flavour, even *if* it happened for lack of options...
[NOT YET DETERMINED] So *if* I don't break down under the load on the way home (or my bag, or the poor bicycle), it looks as if it might turn out to be a good night with nice food, hot coffee and a lot of stuff to read. Just have to try and avoid thinking about BE or I'll start cursing again :(.
