Coffee, Birthdays and Rec Poll

Hm... the coffee dispenser machine in the computer pool is a menace. First, it spits out the paper cups with enough force to knock one in twenty or so all over the room (ensuing in mess and no coffee), and *if* it works right, it makes a howling noise as if it was liquefying its own screws into the coffee water... which, admittedly, isn't too far off from the taste of it :(. Ah, caffeine - the things we suffer for your sake!

I'm having so much fun reading the daily recs people are brightening up February with that I really want to do something like it in March when there's a bit more time - well, not daily, obviously, but perhaps two or three recs of really old/dear/guilty/underappreciated favourites, perhaps pairing-specific... hm... *muses*

Inspired by this, and a few rec-related polls I've seen recently, yet another poll ;).

We're talking purely positive recs only, and this is way hypothetical and wank-free and not going to influence my own habits at all - I'm just curious! And feel free to expand in the comments!
