Numbered Post of Whine

Cut to spare you.

1. I have the most miserable cold in years :(. Stuffed nose, cough that sounds like an iron hammer, feeling as if someone had done me over with one, and being slightly spaced out without even having my favourite flu medicine that does that to me. Miserable enough to stay home from work yesterday, and today as well. Fortunately, my boss tends more towards recommending eccentric cold remedies than to complaining that I'm not there. But, adding insult to injury, it's been the most gorgeously sunny day in *ages* yesterday. Damn! I hate being sick!

2. Oh joy, today proved I'm not pregnant after all (not *bloody* likely, seriously!), after my period skipped last month. And here I hoped it'd be very early menopause...

3. My fic productivity is *abysmal*. It's not even that I don't *want* to write or have bunnies. Just when I come home I have absolutely no energy left to get creative, and on the weekends I mostly sleep.

4. And the Dragoncave site is down... *whimpers*.

I do not think that my eyebrows ever rose quite so fast as when you mentioned the possibility of pregnancy. Since, with all due respect, you are not the Blessed Virgin Mary, I have to assume there is something you did not tell us. Well, good luck anyway.

Wah! It was said with extreme irony, as in being a running gag between myself and Thea for exactly the reason you cite. As if! :)
