Update, and Beta Plea

Sorry for the lack of updates - I've been insanely busy over the past weeks, with RL and fic writing, which isn't going to change until the holidays, I'm afraid... Also, no time to read, which considering all the fests running at the moment (including those I whine for extensions for write for) is downright painful. On the upside, there'll be hummelchen coming over the week before Xmas, yay!

However, there should be a few longish rec posts over the holidays, because I've read awesome stuff in the last few months!

That said... is any of you around who might be able to turn around a no-more-than-5000-word NC-17 Sekritfic in a day on Thursday? As in, I'd hopefully send it yout Wednesday night, and should really have it back Friday morning. Yeah, I know, I don't ask for much, do I? *examines fingernails guiltily.

Can't say anything about pairing and such, obviously, but... it's hard dub-con (at best), but nothing too dark/bad (for my standards...).

Thanks! As you say, two is probably plenty 'cause I only have one day to revise... Though it's a pity, because you're so *good* at betaing :). But poke me if you need something looked at before Christmas proper... I should be able to get something done, if you want me to :).

Doesn't look like I'm going to make it North before Christmas, now. :(

Still no income and a growing need to get stuff from my folks' down south.

Hopefully next year I'll be more settled and can plan it properly.

I trust that among the "awesome stuff" there have been The First Nymphadora and The Dark Star? I have been doing everything in my power to get you to read those two particular fics short of lying down and begging. I assure you they're your kind of thing. (And so, for that matter, is A Crime To Outlive Him.) This is a pretty undignified sort of comment, but it so happens that I value your views more than those of most people - at least where darkfics are concerned.
