Did an extensive search through archives I'd never heard of/neglected before, came across an amazing assortment of fic , and pretty much forgot to go to sleep :).

Out of the Bag by Bernice Russell [gen; G]
Summary: Lessons learned.
Young Snape tackles the ethical aspects of transfiguration. Wonderful characterisation, cat!Minerva, just all-round delightful.

Hummingbirds in Britain by Shayne [gen; G]
Summary: Petunia Evans: not exactly as she seems.
A bittersweet look at young Petunia and magic...

Satellite by Breese Cyndale [het, Voldemort/Bellatrix; PG-13]
Summary: There is a piece of Voldemort that Mrs. Lestrange owns. Four snippets of a lifetime..
Voldemort on his complicated relationship with 'Bella'... the best story on this pairing I've read so far.

To Serve a Purpose by Dark Twin [slash; Sirius/Remus]
Summary: The Marauders, sixth year. In the aftermath of the Werewolf Prank, Sirius takes a fall from grace, and learns the hard way that there are some things you can't set right again just with words.
All is *not* well after the Shrieking Shack incident... There is an R-rated version here, a NC-17 one here. They differ greatly both in content and tone, and while I recommend both, I'd advise you to read the R-version first, if you decide to read both. I did it the other way round and am afraid I can't fully appreciate the R-version because the other left such an impact on me...

Firefly by Ailei [slash, SS/Ollivander; NC-17]
Summary: Sometimes the smallest kindness break you more effectively than the cruelest tortures.
Don't balk at the pairing - it's hell of an impressive take on the mental devastation that taking the Dark Mark has wrought on Snape, and Ollivander sets out to correct it...

And a question: is it impolite to rec without notifying the author? Opinions?

Ah, yes...
... not to mention that in a perfect world I'd have already sent you that mail with no end of ecstatic waffling about how incredibly much I loved the stories deriving from your recent burst of creativity - especially Harry/Moody, the two Harry/Lucius/Draco pieces and that insidious dark Harry/Snape piece, 'Hypocritic Oath'... Well, all, really, but these (and of course my favourite, 'In Between') stood out in particular. But I'll get there! ;)
