Begging for Recs (and a Rec)

Another long weekend coming up (which I should use for revising, but...), and I'd love to take home a handful of long, rewarding fics to read. Slashy, angsty, violent or just plain good - all welcome! Any recs?

And go read rushlight75's new oeuvre, The Pendulum of Choice [PG to R, and mostly gen (so far)].
Summary: In a world torn apart by war, Harry is given a rare medallion that allows him to travel between alternate realities.
I stumbled across the first three chapters last night and (messily) devoured them in an hour or so. Imagine my happiness when I looked at LJ this morning and the fourth was up :). It's an amazing imaginative roller-coaster of AUs, and I can't help but marvel at how utterly IC the story's Harrys are, even in very different worlds. Read!

You've probably already read Fabula Rasa's HP fics, right? If you're looking for long, read Under the Influence, which is short, and then its sequel, Stone Cold Sober which is quite long. It's both slashy and angsty.

BTW, I read TPoC, which mctabby also recommended. You're right, amazing episodes. I can't wait for more.

Thank you! I've read a handful, but by no means enough (and I did not have an idea that she did a sequel to a certain Amanuensis-fic I've been quietly praying for...).
