Exercise in Nailbiting

Ah, I'm starting to get excited now - only a few more hours 'til I'll get my sweaty paws on the new book! Not excited enough to look at the First Chapter that's floating around - I prefer the feel of the book in my hand. You can look to
narcissam's LJ, for example, if that rocks your socks - but, yeah... I'm getting excited ;).
hummelchen has promised to take me out for breakfast tomorrow, and to make sure I'll pick out a present for my dad's birthday on Monday *before* vanishing to devour HBP. I won't be *quite* able to give in to my baser instincts right away, then :).
So I'll wish all of you a marvellous Saturday reading :). Don't forget to feed the cats in between!
ETA: I just found myself walking through the streets with a supremely broad grin on my face, and smiling like a loon at random passers by. This *is* fun! A bit like being in love :).

Personally, I look forward to a nice sleep tonight and going out a bit late tomorrow morning - try to avoid the top of the rush. The books ain't goin' anywhere.

Date: 2005-07-15 06:09 pm (UTC)I'm not going to go anywhere before, well, late morning, but won't take risks either. Of course the bookshop people said they had enough copies that even pre-ordering wasn't necessary, and it worked just fine with OotP, but better safe than sorry :).

Sheesh! People!
