... tartanshell, who sent me off on a Luke/Vader fic reading spree with her links, and who writes a brilliant Luke/Vader WiP, Permeation, (go here for the latest installment with links to the previous chapters).
The only drawback of my rediscovered Star Wars love (well, for the original trilogy, mainly) is that it gave me a plot bunny I *so* don't need!

... hummelchen for finally finishing HBP. CONGRATULATIONS (and I'm sure spoiler-free from now on, so GOODBYE to the pretty red colour! And for phoning me up afterwards to rail at Snape for the better part of an hour ;). I've tried to sell her my 'but it's all been a Dumblerdore/Snape setup!' theory, but to no avail. She swears she'll never touch Snape fanfic again, but I know she's lying :).

... my video player. Because I just watched all three HP movies (in English, yay!), and great fun was had altogether. And since I'm on the topic of Snape, I'll still maintain that - Alan Rickman or not - movie!Snape is a perfect ugly git without a shred of sexgod (yes, I know the upsurge of Harry/Snape fic in the wake of the movies has to do with that perception of Snape, but I just don't see it - the tension, of course, but not the sexiness). That said, his *voice* certainly makes up for everything (and would sure make me weak-kneed if I were Harry!). There's a bit of bonus track to the first potions lesson in PS, which was... pretty hot, actually ;).

Agreed about Alan Rickman. He can be good looking (Dogma) but he isn't in HP. His voice is just swoon-inducing though! I don't know where my video of PS is come to think of it...

I find book!Snape sexier than movie!Snape, anyway, but I love Alan Rickman's voice.

Ow, ow, ow! I think I broke something vital there, laughing ;). You're a wicked woman, and absolutely, wickedly brilliant. I'll take comment prawn every day ;). Actually, the way that gave me shivers, seafood imagery or not, it does qualify as p0rn just fine :). And some say seafood is unerotic... tsk.

I'm disturbed at how much easier I find it to write non-con than con, however.
