(All fics of mine are here.)

Will answer tomorrow - off to home now :). G'night for now!

Just read 'Brothers In Arms' the other day, so it's still very fresh in my mind. (And hope to read more of your fics really soon!) I loved how the story ended. I like this kind of open endings. Personally, I'd like to think that Lucius's plan worked, Harry defeated Voldemort, and he and Lucius reached some kind of -- no, not love, but some kind of mutual 'understanding' with lots of hot sex. So, what do you think happened? ;)

Heh. I came very close to writing that sequel ;).

The plot works and Voldemort is destroyed, but the conditioning *did* destroy Harry's personality almost beyond repair. Harry got Lucius to swear he'd kill him afterwards, because he did not want to live like that. Lucius promised, but after the war would not endanger himself/his tiny bit of saved reputation as the one who in a roundabout way helped defeating Voldemort, by killing the 'saviour', so Harry is taken back to Hogwarts/St Mungo's for treatment. He escapes to confront Lucius, even if he's in no mental state to 'demand' anything from his 'mster'. They try to deal with it in secret. There would be Draco. I never plotted it further than that, but I'm pretty sure it would *not* end in Harry's suicide/murder, but in some kind of (hugely unequal) 'understanding' indeed ;).

Oookay - that was probably far TMI ;).

Not TMI for me! I'm pleased to see you have this much in mind for them, even if you never write it.

If ever you feel like dealing with the conseqences of near destruction (which you've tackled, in different ways, in No Desert for Harry and Beyond Saving for Lucius), I'd love to read this (and would be happy to beta-read if you wanted).

Last night I spent a few hours re-reading several of your stories (as well as reading a few I'd saved but not yet read, like Sleepwalking with the Damned). I was reminded of how well you write, how intense you make everything (yes, even The Art of Wool, mindless fluff though you call it; of its kind it's a beautiful example of history-to-myth in progress). You know how rotten I am at feedback, but this seems to be a good opportunity to say again that your stories affect me strongly.

*flushes*
You're lovely (and not rotten at all at feedback!). But thanks for telling me - it *does* mean a lot, especially coming from a writer I admire as much as you!

Oh, I would so read that sequel. It's very intriguing and it would really be a great fic. I like very much that you wouldn't have glossed over the consequences of what Harry would have gone through (it wouldn't be realistic otherwise) and that you wouldn't have him die in the end either. Damn, why didn't you write it? Oh, well. ;)

And no, that was not TMI. I loved knowing all those details. The more, the better. ;)
