Eight Days of Happiness - Day Four

Today's Happy... well, today was designated as shopping day, whose to-do list included an alarm clock (old one broke, hence top priority), looking at jewellery for hummelchen, various household items (all out of baking soda after yesterday's heroic battle with the clogged sink), groceries, and perhaps a peek into a bookshop.

I came home with seven books - by Mary Gentle (whose alternate histories can be amazing), Samuel Delaney (recced me by leni_jess), a collection of gay love poetry, a handful of SF and a trashy vampire novel for amusement. That's happy!

Entirely forgot about the alarm clock (*thwaps head*) and didn't buy any jewellery, though - ah well, there's books, and books make everything all right :).
